On October 27th Dallas Capital Bank served as the financial underwriter and educational partner for the Adventure and Victory Destiny Chasers & Dream Builders Life Skills program. This is the 5th consecutive year of partnership between Dallas Capital Bank and Adventure and Victory.

Adventure and Victory is a local Dallas non-profit that provides life-skills, job-skills, and leadership training to low- and moderate-income women. Participants learn how to set and achieve realistic goals, relate positively to any of life’s situations, and acquire a sense of purpose and self-worth.
“We’re honored to once again take part not only by underwriting this great cause, but actually getting the opportunity to educate these amazing women on financial stability, how to overcome setbacks, become more self-sufficient and empower them to reach their full potential,” said Wendy Blackwell, Executive Vice President Dallas Capital Bank.

Because of the current COVID-19 pandemic, the class was held via video conference call with Dallas Capital team members Wendy Blackwell and Justin Hall presenting. An additional course will be held later in November as a follow-up, giving participants another chance to interact with Dallas Capital team members.
“I’m so honored to work for a company that not only takes pride in serving the banking needs of the Dallas business community but also seeks out opportunities to use our expertise to provide resources and tools to help the greater Dallas community.” Said Justin Hall, VP Banking Center Service Manager.
