Adventure & Victory making a difference in the lives of people in our community, was featured along with Black Jack’s Pizza in a recent Dallas Weekly News article:
Jacqueline Johnson of Adventure & Victory, along with Ms. Dorothy Jones of Black Jack’s Pizza joined forces to help make Christmas a merry time for over 900 children.
“Joy more joy, that’s what families need during this trying time, definitely for this season,” said Rita Moore a passerby that saw people receiving toys and help for their children outside Black Jack’s Pizza at the corner of Martin Luther King Blvd. and Atlanta on Saturday December 14. Local non-profit, Adventure and Victory held their annual toy giveaway at the popular South Dallas restaurant. “For years we have given back to and helped under privileged families in many ways, today is no different with the toy give away, we are thankful that God allows us to be able to give back,” said Jacqueline Johnson founder of Adventure & Victory INC. 501(c)3. The nonprofit also provides daily prayer and outreach from their North Dallas headquarters housed inside of their Dream Resale Store, which makes available name brand clothes and furniture for less.”
